Mr. Dipesh Shroff

Chairman, Shrujan Trust

Mr Dipesh Shroff has served as the Managing Director of Excel Crop Care Limited from September, 2003 till October, 2016. Mr. Shroff served as Joint Managing Director of Excel Industries Ltd., until August 2003. He has the wide experience in various areas of Operations, Manufacturing, Project Implementation, Finance, Marketing and Innovative Rural and Agriculture practices. Currently he is the Chariman and Managing Director of Agrocel Industries Pvt. Ltd.

An industrialist with a vast experience in the chemicals and agrochemicals industries, Mr. Dipesh K. Shroff holds a diploma in Civil Engineering and Owners/ President Management program from Harvard Business School to his credit. He serves on the board of several companies including Excel Industries Limited, Transpek Industry Limited and TML Industries Limited. He has been on the Board / Governing Body of numerous NGOs and Charitable organizations like; Kutch Nav-Nirman Abhiyan, Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology, Shrujan Creations. Maharaoshri Madhansinhji Kutch Benevolence Trust, Vivekanand Research and Training Institute, Bhavnagar.

Mr. Jagdish Ramanlal Naik

Trustee, Shrujan Trust

Mr Jagdish Ramnlal Naik has degrees in B.Com. and F.C.A. He also serves as Corporate Advisor at Excel Group, Transpek Silox Industry Limited and Shah Granite Group of Companies. He has a range of experience in the fields of amalgamation, demergers, joint ventures, business valuation, income tax and company law matters.

Additionally, he has served as a non-executive and non-independent director on the board of Excel Crop Care Limited and Punjab Chemicals and Crop Protection Ltd.

Ranjanben Shroff

Trustee, Shrujan Trust

She worked in Shrujan during the early years at a grassroot level with founder Chanda Shroff. Her love for the handmade and dedication towards Shrujan’s vision led to winning the trust of the women from many communities in early the ‘70s. Today’s Shrujan owes in-depth gratitude to her for her exemplary work.

Ami Shroff

Managing Trustee, Shrujan Trust

Ami Shroff has had a varied journey before she formally joined Shrujan in 1998. She initially joined the family trust-run, not for profit organization, Shrujan, as a project coordinator in Kutch to work at the grassroots level and also led the ‘Design Centre on Wheels’ project for the organisation, the first of its kind and scale in India. In fact, it was her deep involvement and commitment to the operations at Shrujan Trust that led to the genesis of the first of its kind research and documentation project in the Kutch region called ‘Pride and Enterprise ', which documented and researched the embroidery craft story of the Kutch region. This initiative went on to win the Rolex Awards in 2006 for Chandaben Shroff, the founder of Shrujan.

Ami Shroff intends to build a profile for the LLDC as a melting pot for craft enthusiasts and craft experts from all over the world, and also a place where anyone, from any background, can be empowered with the power of creativity and art. She has been actively engaged in different NGO’s such as Sakhi Sangini (a KMVS initiative), the founder member of Kutch Craft Collective.

Chetanaben Praful Saraiya

Trustee, Shrujan Trust

Chetanaben Saraiya has a diploma in interior design. Shroffs Engineering Private Limited; Associated with Shrujan as a cornerstone for more than 50 years, and has contributed significantly to the development and growth of the organisation since then.

Shri Kirit Dave

Trustee, Shrujan Trust

An architect by education and a reformist by nature, Kirit Dave utilised his architectural background to benefit the craft sector initially in Mumbai and later in Kutch. His inclination towards social causes and empowering the stakeholders through craft and system design influenced his work as a designer. A fine blend of humanity and artistry can be seen in his work, as he understands and respects each artisan and their freedom of expression in the craft.
